What could changes to lobbying legislation mean

What could changes to lobbying legislation mean to those who are lobbied?

Since coming into law, a large proportion of lobbyists have called for the Lobbying Act 2014 to be expanded beyond consultant lobbyists and to be more robust in its requirements. With the review of the legislation and of the Office of the Registrar of Consultant Lobbyists (ORCL) taking place, and a slew of stories of inappropriate lobbying behaviour – albeit not by lobbyists – has put a spotlight on the industry and makes it almost inevitable that things will change. That may suit the industry, but what about those who are on the receiving end of lobbying activity?

Speakers include:
Dame Angela Eagle MP. Labour Member of Parliament for Wallasey
Duncan Hames, Director of Policy and Programmes, Transparency International UK
Jeevun Sandher, Economist, King’s College London and former Treasury Official • Dr Hannah White, Deputy Director of the Institute for Government
