PRide Awards Ceremony- South of England and Channel Islands

The CIPR PRide Awards ceremony is always a fantastic event where finalists can celebrate their achievements with colleagues and clients.

We are not quite ready to celebrate face to face this year but we will be bringing the glitz and glamour online in the comfort of our own homes.

The virtual ceremony is free to attend! Make sure you invite all your colleagues and clients.

Date: Wednesday 6 October 2021
Venue: Online
Time: 16.00 - 17.00
Dress code: We encourage you to dress up, but feel free to be as fancy as you like!
MC: Louise Minchin

Louise Minchin’s career has taken her from broadcaster to triathlete.

Louise began her career working for the BBC World Service in Argentina followed by Radio 5 Live. In her time as a leading news anchor Louise brought to the public many of the most outstanding news stories of our time including the 7/7 London bombings, the capture of Colonel Gadaffi, and the Deepwater Horizon disaster.

Louise was honoured in 2014 by the University of Chester as an Honorary Doctor of Letters.

Now with two daughters, she has taken up the ‘hobby’ of running Triathlons, as if something as tough as triathlons can be called a hobby! Still a freelance journalist, she has begun writing and Dare to Tri tells her extraordinary journey from presenter to being able represent Great Britain at the World Triathlon Championships.

Today Louise is a friendly and very familiar face on breakfast TV for millions of viewers.
