is our new mentoring scheme, free and exclusive to CIPR members. The scheme is self-service - giving you complete control to choose the right mentor, and the flexibility to make your mentoring experience work for you.
We have 48 mentors waiting to help you achieve your career goals. All are CIPR Fellows with a wealth of experience working in-house, agency side and independently across diverse business sectors.
Our industry has never faced a greater challenge than Covid-19. Now, more than ever, you might want to seek the support, wisdom and expertise of an experienced practitioner and mentor.
Wherever you are on the career ladder, mentoring is a great way to expand your horizons and make progress. Use your mentor as a safe sounding board to explore ideas and opportunities, and be challenged and inspired to reach that next milestone in your public relations career.
six steps to get started
1: Browse the mentor profiles in the categories below to find the right mentor for you. You will be prompted to log in.
2: Download and complete a mentee application form .
3: Send your application form to your chosen mentor using the contact details on their profile page.
4: Download our mentee/mentor guidelines and add any of your own stipulations or requirements.
5: Make sure that you and your mentor agree to the guidelines. You may also want your mentor to complete a non-disclosure agreement.
6: Agree the first meet-up with your mentor, set an agenda and take it from there!
