Laurian Hubbard : Chair for the New World day (Tuesday 10 Nov)





Laurian is a CIPR Fellow and award-winning Chartered PR Practitioner, with over fifteen years’ experience in PR, communications and marketing. She is the Strategic Communications Lead for Citizens and Nations on the UK Transition Campaign in the Cabinet Office.
Previous roles have included working in the public sector in Australia, Welsh Government and the Chambers of Commerce. Laurian is the Founder and Co-President of Women in PR Cymru, International Board member of Global Women in PR, a CIPR Council member; and committee member of CIPR Cymru.
She is also a CIPR Chartered Assessor and has been Head Judge for CIPR Cymru Pride Awards for the last three years.








Advita Patel: Chair for the People day (Wednesday 11 Nov)


Advita is the Managing Director of CommsRebel, an internal communication and employee experience consultancy based in Manchester, U.K. She's also the co-founder of A Leader Like Me, a subscription service helping women of colour succeed in their leadership roles. CommsRebel encourages businesses to take the leap and revolutionise the way they communicate within their organisation by using effective measurement techniques and creative tools. Advita is also a qualified coach/mentor and works with teams and individuals to help them achieve their goals and build confidence. Advita is a chartered PR practitioner, a Board Director and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.





Mary Whenman : Chair for the Business day (Thursday 12 Nov)

Mary is Director, Communications at the British Business Bank, the UK’s economic development bank. Mary has previously held in-house roles at Inmarsat plc and Callcredit (now Transunion). Before her move in-house, Mary had a 25-year global agency career. She was President of Women in PR for three years until January 2018 and is a member of the Advisory Board of BME PRros. Mary has featured in the PR Week Powerbook annually since 2015, is a Fellow of the CIPR, Member of the PRCA, a former Cannes Lions Glass Lion juror, a winner of the 2014 Power Part-Time awards, and a past-mentor on the PR Week Mentoring and Women in Sales mentoring programmes. Mary was shortlisted for a PR Week Award in 2013 and was runner-up in the PR Week Young Achiever award in 1996.
