Katie is an independent PR Practitioner and highly skilled at helping companies engage with business, trade and consumer audiences, delivering real commercial outcomes. With over eighteen years PR experience both in-house and agency side, Katie began her career at global PR agency Weber Shandwick in London where she quickly moved up the ranks. From here she moved in-house and joined former FTSE 250 company TNS as International PR Manager. She spent eight years at TNS working across all the different sectors of the business including technology, healthcare, automotive, political & social, consumer and financial as well as looking after all the corporate PR needs.
Katie’s areas of expertise include strategy and messaging development, PR planning, media relations, crisis and issues support, content creation including case studies and white papers, executive profiling, event management and international hub management. She has a proven track record of handling crisis both in the UK and internationally.
With more than 18 years’ experience in communications, Lowri is currently part of the Corporate Communication’s Team at the Ministry of Defence, prior to joining government communications, Lowri sent 10 years in higher education in communications and later moving into public affairs. Her career started in regional PR agencies in the North East and Wales. Lowri has Masters in Marketing and a CIPR Diploma in Public Affairs.
Arianne is Head of Digital at Exeter-based KOR Communications, a public relations consultancy for the land, property and rural affairs sectors. She specialises in digital PR, managing clients' online presence and creating compelling content to reach target audiences with impact. She holds a degree in Public Relations from the University of Sunderland and has experience working agency-side.
Ben is Founder & MD of Second Mountain Communications, a boutique consultancy specialising in helping ethical and purpose-driven firms and business leaders with meaningful content, PR and strategy. A PR, marketing and corporate communications professional with 15 years' industry experience across the food and drink, technology, healthcare and creative sectors, Ben is adept at strategic brand messaging, thought leadership and crisis management and is a CIPR Accredited Practitioner.
Ellen is the founder of Nellie PR and is a strategic PR and communication consultant, mentor, and trainer. With over 22 years' experience, Ellen delivers real profitable impact to businesses and organisations and also mentors and trains public relations, communication and marketing practitioners, agencies, and teams. Passionate about lifelong learning, Ellen is a Certified Watertight Marketing practitioner and prior to setting up Nellie PR, she worked agency-side and in-house for the likes of Experian and Aviva.
Evie is an experienced digital marketer and for the past 10 years has held both agency and in-house positions. Currently she is the Bristol Coordinator for CIPR SW and a Digital Lead at AMBITIOUS PR.
Evie started her career in PR and communications roles working for tech start-ups. She then moved agency side to strengthen her digital skills and worked at Edit and Greenlight Digital in London, helping run events and create digital PR campaigns for household brands including Hiscox, L&G, CurrysPCWorld and Millennium Hotels & Resorts.
In her day-to-day role at AMBITIOUS as Digital Lead Evie works with clients to develop social media strategies that resonate with key audiences, develops content marketing campaigns to grow a brand’s online footprint, and runs regular training workshops for both clients and public. She is also a key member of the Social Media Week Bristol team, helping bring the event to the city and has previously represented AMBITIOUS at Social Media Week New York, Social Media Week London, and Social Media Week Poland.
Charlotte is a corporate communications consultant with seven years’ experience designing and delivering multi-channel communications strategies which protect and enhance the reputation of organisations. Currently external communications manager at Ecclesiastical Insurance Group, Charlotte has experience delivering integrated communications campaigns to deadlines in both in-house and global agency settings.
Alex is a Director at UK consultancy Antidote Communications where she works with clients to create B2B and corporate comms strategies grounded in data and insights. She has a decade of agency-side experience with a strong focus on global tech and innovation. In 2018 she was named one of PR Week's 30 Under 30.
