CIPR’s Climate Change Panel brings together communications experts from a range of sectors and disciplines, including the built environment, the public sector, third sector and agency as well as technology and artificial intelligence.

Its focus is on three key streams of work:

1. Supporting the CIPR itself to follow best practice in sustainability and the reduction of its carbon emissions.
This will involve working with CIPR staff and board to establish policies and activities to measure and manage the environmental impact of the membership organisation.

2. Support the PR industry to make a significant, positive contribution to tackling the climate and ecological emergency within their own organisations and businesses.
This will be delivered through a suite of content, activities and events across a range of themes, offering practical information and support.

3. Supporting PR professionals to lead the conversation within their organisations and with their clients to influence positive change within the climate change agenda.

The panel will deliver activities that position the PR industry as a key influencer at a policy level, whilst also supporting our members to gain confidence to lead conversations within their organisations and sectors.
