This course lifts the lid on Google Analytics for public relations professionals. It provides an introduction to data-driven PR and an insight into how to use Google Analytics to measure and prove the value of PR and social media activity. The workshop has been fully revised to focus on Google Analytics 4, in light of Google’s March 2022 announcement to end support for Google Analytics 3.

  • how to properly set up a GA4 account
  • how to build reports and explore data in GA4
  • types of goals and objectives (now called conversions) that can be measured via GA4
  • how to make use of GA4's real time analytics functionality
  • how to create custom dashboards using Google Data Studio
