The Global AIinPR - roundtable on AI and Trust

The Global AIinPR - roundtable on AI and Trust

The conversation will focus on AI and trust. AI’s potential requires strong buy-in from citizens and governments, based on their trust that applications and technologies making use of it are built and used ethically.
The AIinPR panel has campaigned for ethical AI and believes AI holds the potential to deliver enormous benefits to society, organisations and citizens but only if it is used responsibly.  At the end of January 2021, The World Economic Forum announces today the launch of the Global AI Action Alliance (GAIA), the latest of global initiatives to support trustworthy AI.  Artificial intelligence could contribute over $14 trillion to the global economy by 2035 while dramatically improving the lives of billions, but it will only achieve its potential if it is used responsibly.  However, it is becoming widely recognised that many governments and organisations across the world have ethical AI principles or have or are devising ethical codes and standards. While this is welcomed, it has created fragmentation and further effort is required to ensure AI’s positive future.

Speakers include public relations specialists and academics working in the field of AI and trust. We’ll announce more speakers shortly.
