Terms and Conditions for CIPR Agency & Client Finder 

 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between the CIPR ("we," "us," or "our"), in-house teams ("Client"), and PR agencies ("Agency"). By using our services, you agree to these Terms.  

1. Scope of Services 

1.1. The CIPR facilitates the connection between Clients and Agencies, helping Clients to submit briefs, and assisting Agencies in delivering their services effectively. 

1.2. The CIPR’s primary role is to facilitate the sharing of project briefs between CIPR Corporate Affiliate In-house Clients and other PR teams, and Corporate Affiliate Agencies.  

2. Responsibilities of the Client 

2.1. The Client shall provide accurate and complete information in the brief submission form. 

2.2. The Client shall cooperate with the Agency and provide all necessary resources and support to facilitate the successful completion of the project. 

2.3. The Client shall comply with all agreed deadlines and payment terms. 

 
3. Responsibilities of the Agency 

3.1. The Agency shall deliver services in accordance with the project brief and agreed terms.

3.2. The Agency shall communicate any issues or delays promptly to the Client. 

3.3. The Agency shall maintain confidentiality of all Client information and use it solely for the purpose of delivering the agreed services. 

3.4 The Agency shall acknowledge the client brief within five working days of receiving it from the CIPR.

 
4. The CIPR's Role and Limitations 

4.1. The CIPR acts as a facilitator and does not assume any responsibility for the actual performance of the services by the Agency. 

4.2 The CIPR will confirm receipt of submissions automatically and will match your brief to an agency within two working days.

4.3. The CIPR is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the relationship between the Client and the Agency. 

4.4. Code of Conduct: 

4.3.1. Clients may report any alleged unprofessional conduct by the Agency to the CIPR’s Independent Professional Practice and Ethics Consultant. If this results in a complaint and a formal hearing, the Agency may have its CIPR membership terminated.

 

5. Confidentiality 

5.1. All parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information shared during the project. 

5.2. The CIPR will not disclose any confidential information to third parties without prior written consent from the respective party. 

 
6. Intellectual Property 

6.1. Any intellectual property created during the project will be owned by the Client, unless otherwise specified in a separate agreement. 

6.2. The Agency may not use any of the Client’s intellectual property for other purposes without the Client’s written consent. 

 

7. Free Service for Corporate Affiliates 

7.1. This service is provided free of charge for client users and Corporate Affiliate agencies.

7.2. Agencies must be active Corporate Affiliate members of the CIPR to benefit from this service. 

 
8. Amendments 

8.1. CIPR reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Clients and Agencies will be notified of any changes. 

8.2. Use of the CIPR Agency & Client Finder services constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms. 


By engaging with the CIPR Agency & Client Finder service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
