This course lifts the lid on Google Analytics for public relations professionals. It provides an introduction to data-driven PR and an insight into how to use Google Analytics to measure and prove the value of PR and social media activity.

Course objectives
Participation in the course will provide you with the knowledge of:

  • key differences between GA3 and GA4
  • managing the switch from GA3 to GA4
  • how to properly set up a GA account
  • how to build reports and explore data in GA
  • types of goals and objectives (now called conversions) that can be measured via GA
  • how to make use of G4's real time analytics functionality
  • how to create custom dashboards with Google Looker (formerly known as Google Data Studio)
