EDI 03: Inclusive policies & practices

Learning outcomes:

• Understand the concept of inclusive policies and practices and their significance in promoting quality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in the workplace.
• Recognise the importance of aligning organisational mission, vision, and values with equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI efforts).
• Learn how to assess the current state of equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) within your organisation through surveys and benchmarking.
• Gain an understanding of various areas where inclusive policies and practices can be implemented to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in the workplace.
• Understand the key components and importance of crafting an equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) statement that reflects organisational values and commitments.
• Recognise the importance of regularly revisiting and updating inclusive policies, practices, and official EDI statements to ensure their relevance and effectiveness.
