On Valentine’s Day show a bit of love for Planet Earth!

Join our CIPR North West virtual “Lunch & Learn” session and learn why it is important for PR Professionals to communicate change in a powerful way.

Is your organisation, or your client, committed to climate action? Where do they stand on the reduction of greenhouse gases? Hear why it is important to explain the science, what is happening and why everyone needs to manage the impact of climate change. Harness the expert voices within your organisation so they can function as advocates.

Sally Chan, who is leading CIPR North West’s carbon literacy training in May will be sharing her expertise. She is a Certified Carbon Literacy Trainer, an advertising lecturer and marketing consultant at the University of Leeds.

James Jordan, Senior Transport Communications Consultant for WSP, will also join the session to talk about building sustainability practice into his work within the transport infrastructure sector.

Also joining us will be Gareth Lucy, who is Communications Director UK and Ireland for Essity, ranked as one of the world’s most sustainable companies by Corporate Knights at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Climate change is a global issue that requires collective action from individuals, organisations and governments. The science can be complex, but it is essential to understand the impact of human activities on the environment and take steps to reduce our carbon footprint.

Join our free-for-members session at 12pm on 14 February 2024 and if you are a PRCA member please contact us for your unique promo code to book. For non-members the price to attend this event is £5 +VAT.

We hope this session will inspire you to help make a positive impact.
