Mike Grocott, Intercog: How to ensure that your clients and colleagues understand what needs to be done because of the data that you present to them
If you're in PR, you'll be dealing with data. For all sorts of reasons, you'll also be presenting that data to your clients and/or colleagues either “formally”, e.g. via an actual presentation, or more “informally” as part of something more akin to a meeting. You might also be using some kind of reports as well. Regardless of the specific reason or "formality", however, it's crucially important that your clients/colleagues understand what the data means for them and therefore what needs to be done because of it and why. By presenting that data in an interesting, understandable and action-focussed way you can ensure that this happens. Finding out how to do that is therefore the goal of this session.
