CIPR, CIPR Awards, CIPR Northern Ireland, CIPRNI, Northern Ireland, Belfast, Creativity in PR

The CIPR Northern Ireland Committee is delighted to welcome Susie Pearl for our webinar on creativity.

This fast-paced and practical session - Creativity Meets PR - will equip communications professionals with the tools, confidence and mindset needed to generate standout ideas in an increasingly crowded and fast-moving media landscape.

With over 25 years’ experience in public relations, Susie Pearl is a best-selling author, podcaster and founder and CEO of a leading London-based agency, where she has built a reputation for shaping influential narratives and delivering campaigns that cut through across media, entertainment, business and lifestyle sectors. Her work sits between strategic communication and creative thinking - a perspective she brings to life in her book The Art of Creativity, which offers practical techniques for unlocking original ideas and applying them in real-world professional contexts.

This workshop is designed to move beyond theory, focusing on how creativity – in the consumer and corporate space - can be actively applied within PR roles today. As the industry shifts towards faster, more reactive and conversation-driven communications, the ability to think creatively under pressure has become a critical skill. This session will challenge predictable approaches, encouraging participants to break out of “safe” thinking and develop ideas that resonate with clarity, originality and impact.

Across the session, Susie will guide participants through a practical reset on what creativity means in PR in 2026 - exploring why traditional approaches are losing effectiveness, and how stronger ideas, sharper instincts and more engaging storytelling are now essential to success.

Through a highly interactive and energetic format, attendees will learn how to:
Strengthen creative thinking under pressure
Generate distinctive campaign ideas quickly
Apply creativity to real PR scenarios
Build confidence in pitching bold, original concepts

Participants will gain a clear, repeatable structure for creative thinking in PR campaign development, alongside practical idea-generation tools that can be applied immediately. The session will also sharpen instincts around what makes an idea land in today’s media environment - helping transform work from acceptable to truly standout.

Designed for PR professionals at all levels, the workshop combines strategic insight with hands-on application, ensuring every attendee leaves with tangible outputs and renewed creative confidence.

By the end of the session, participants will be equipped with practical tools and fresh perspectives to generate more original, effective PR ideas - immediately enhancing both client work and campaign impact.

Ticketing will close on Wednesday 10th June at 5pm.
