7. 2025 predictions for health comms/PR?
The humanised approach remains to be a strong driver of the PR strategy. Audiences are looking for authentic interactions with organisations and brands - if the PR can create a two-way communication through platforms, it can help improve engagement and elicit responses that can help the activity go further.
Trust amongst audiences is in decline. AI-generated fake news has led to low trust in the media and also traditional institutions, which PRs will have to manage.
Authenticity is a key metric for an organisation's comms. People will be critical because of the rise of misinformation so PR professionals must work hard to develop an authentic voice and personalise the messaging.
