About the group
The CIPR Channel Islands Group encompasses public relations and communications practitioners in Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney and Sark and provides a forum for the exchange of ideas while endeavouring to educate and inform external audiences about the benefits and value of professional communications expertise in all spheres of business and public life.
The local committee organises events to help members to fulfil their CPD requirements closer to home, provide relevant content for the local industry and networking opportunities. Our strategy to support the local PR community is as follows:
1. Promote the profession locally
To represent the PR profession locally, promoting professional standards and demonstrating how the public relations profession serves clients and society with creative, technically expert and ethical practice.
2. Networking
To provide networking opportunities for local professionals, connecting them to like-minded people and encouraging collaboration and mutual support.
3. Training & development
To support and promote training, learning and development opportunities provided by the CIPR to a local audience, focusing on the skills and sectors most relevant to the Channel Islands.
