Lyndsay Laird

With over a decade experience in in-house internal and external communications teams, a large chunk of my working life has been STEM focussed. In previous roles, I’ve managed a busy 24/7 Press Office, led comms for high-profile crisis situations and delivered creative, effective campaigns that win hearts and minds, and support commercial growth for a leading supplier of consulting and infrastructure support services. Today, I look after communications and employer brand for the world’s only pure play STEM recruiter. As a CIPR Accredited PR Practitioner, I’m passionate about great communication. And while my younger self thought that a career in PR would mean spending a lot of time at glamourous events, rather than wearing PPE, I can’t imagine working in any other sector.
